Understanding MPLS

MPLS is a label switching technology developed to provide the performance of layer 2 switching based on layer 3 information.

This 2-day theoretic based course is designed to provide an overview of the concepts and terminology associated with MPLS. Those attending will also gain an insight in to the primary benefits of MPLS such as the simplicity with which Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) may be implemented as well as the ability to perform traffic engineering.
