Prerequisites
Previous attendance at the 5-day Security Systems Cabling programme, or basic knowledge of electrical theory including
resistors, use of multi-meters & Ohms law

Course objectives
Delegates will have gained theoretical & practical training on today’s security systems equipment and an overview of intruder alarms, CCTV & access control

Qualifications
BTEC Intermediate Award in Security Systems Installation
BTEC units towards:
BTEC Intermediate Certificate in Security Systems Installation & Voice
BICSI CECs: 35 Installation, 35 RCDD & 35 Residential CableNet Certificate
