Introduction to Transmission
Systems ISDN, ADSL, ATM & SDH
This 2-day course is designed to provide an insight
into the features and requirements associated with
the transmission technologies: ISDN, ADSL, ATM and
SDH.
Aimed at “field” personnel such as network
operators or their subcontractors through to those
responsible for the specification, planning and maintenance
of these transmission technologies, those attending
will gain a working knowledge of these common transmission
system technologies.

Who should attend?
Engineers already in the industry or anyone seeking
to learn about, or refresh their knowledge of transmission
systems
Prerequisites
Delegates would ideally have a telecommunication background
but this is not essential
Course objectives
Delegates gain working knowledge of common transmission
technologies
Qualifications
BTEC applied for, CableNet certificate
