Design & Advanced Testing
of Fibre Systems
Gain a greater knowledge of design & testing
of fibre systems.
This 3-day course is designed for engineers already
installing fibre, to provide information and essential
experience on system design and advanced testing requirements,
for both multimode and singlemode fibre optic cabling
systems.
Delivered through a series of demonstrations and instructor-led
practical assignments, this course is designed to
provide a comprehensive insight into all aspects of
OTDR testing and the design requirements for modern
network architectures up to 10Gb Ethernet, popular
fibre-to-the-desktop systems as well as inter and
intra building solutions. Complex measurements of
fibre optic links are also covered, including through
multiple cross-connects and the storage, recall, analysis
and collation of the tests results.
